Milan, September 3, 2025 – The structuring and consolidation phase continues at W Group, Italy’s first multi-brand human resource solutions group led by Federico Vione, which today announces the appointment of two new Chief Financial Officers: Alessandro Carloni will take on the role for the Group, succeeding Roberto Damonte who, thanks to his crucial contribution over the years to the creation and development of the Company, will now join the Board of W Group, of which he is already a shareholder. Stefano Geronzi, instead, will become the new CFO of Ali Lavoro.
Alessandro Carloni
With over 20 years of international experience in finance, gained in complex industrial and organizational settings, Carloni has served as CFO of Chiesi Group, a global biopharmaceutical company, and of Elica, an Italian multinational at the forefront of design and manufacturing of cooking appliances. Previously, he held senior roles in finance and strategy at Whirlpool EMEA and Honeywell Automotive. He began his career at Deloitte as an auditor and consultant. He holds a degree with honors in Business Administration from LUISS University in Rome.
In his new role, reporting directly to CEO Federico Vione, he will be tasked with overseeing the Company’s economic, financial, and asset management, coordinating budgets and financial forecasts to achieve the objectives set out in the 2030 strategic plan, including reaching €2 billion in revenues.
Stefano Geronzi
With more than 25 years of experience in financial and managerial leadership roles, Geronzi’s career has been built primarily within a leading HR company, where he demonstrated consistent growth that led him to hold key positions, including Deputy CFO and Country Finance Manager.
His expertise ranges from strategic planning to management control, with a proven ability to drive business growth and optimize financial processes.
